https://microtechtoday.blogspot.com/2019/08/how-to-send-email-with-information.html

If you are a Gmail user, you can send a confidential email to anyone using the 'Confidential Mode' feature of this e-mail service. You can also attach files to these e-mail messages. The main purpose of this feature is to protect sensitive information and protect it from being lost.

You can also set the expiration date if you wish to send a confidential email or revoke the recipient's access to it at any time so that the recipient can not forward this e-mail to anyone and copy, print or download it.

However, e-mail recipients sent in 'Confidential mode' will be able to share screenshots or photos even if they cannot share. There is no option to stop the recipient from this feature. Send confidential e-mail in Gmail's 'Confidential Mode'

Login to Gmail from your computer.

Click 'Compose'.

Click on the 'Turn on Confidential Mode' option at the bottom of the window. But if you have already turned on Confidential Mode for an e-mail, go to the bottom of the e-mail and then click on the Edit option.

Set an expiration date and passcode. This setting is useful for both text and attachments.

If you set 'No SMS Passcode', the recipient will be able to open the e-mail directly.

By setting 'SMS Passcode', a passcode will be sent to the recipient's mobile via SMS, using that passcode the recipient will be able to open the e-mail, which is a more secure arrangement. In this case, entering the mobile number, you will enter the recipient's phone number, not your own.

  • Now click on 'Save'.

If you would like to prevent your recipient from seeing the confidential email before the due date, follow the steps below.

  • Login to Gmail on your computer.
  • Click on 'St' on the left.
  • Open Confidential E-mail.
  • Click on the 'Remove Access' option.
